We are a professional counseling practice and outpatient center located in Dallas, TX specializing in the treatment of sexual addiction, love addiction, pornography addiction, internet addiction, alcoholism, drug addiction and other addictive disorders.

We provide help not just for the addict, but our training and expertise provides support, encouragement and healing for the partners and families as well.

Therapists at Life Works have years of experience dealing with the issues that affect an addicted family system, including depression, anxiety, grief, loss, abuse and trauma.

We are experts at treating addiction, codependency, coaddiction and trauma. We are Level II EMDR Therapists, and Certified Sex Addiction Therapists (CSAT). Therapists at Life Works Recovery are recovering people also, and understand through our own pain and suffering what it means to be in the pain of addiction.

A task model for treating addiction, developed by Dr Patrick Carnes, is utillized to create a structured and dynamic approach to the treatment of addictive disorders. Individual, couples and group therapy are used to facilitate healing.
